Most of our active PSPA parents live in and around Andover and are the parents of Day Students at PA. However students come to Andover from all over the US and the world. Many parents of those Boarding Students wish to get involved in the PA community but distance makes it seemingly impossible. PSPA is making significant progress in the transformation from a local parent group to a global parent group with the use of Internet communications and technology. The goal of the PSPA Regional Activities Committee is to promote involvement and facilitate outreach/communication efforts to parents beyond those in close proximity to the school.
The Director of Regional Activities works closely with PA's Office of Alumni Affairs and its Director of Regional Associations to establish and maintain a network of interested parents, to encourage dissemination of useful information from PSPA and the school, and to stimulate parent activities and school events in as many areas as possible.
Regional PSPA contacts, PA parents that have volunteered and expressed an interest in organizing events with other parents in their areas, have been identified in the following regions:
