Phillips Academy’s summer enrichment programs engage talented, motivated students from all over the world in transformative academic experiences, offering them the opportunity to achieve their educational goals and make amazing memories at the same time. Program offerings include Summer Session: a competitive 5-week on-campus program for day and boarding students entering grades 7-12; eSummer: a 5-week virtual, mastery-based program, and Advantage: a new 2-week open-enrollment academic refresher for day students. With such a range of possibilities, Andover Summer offers something for everyone!
Boston University’s Pre-College Programs
Illuminate your future—this summer at Boston University. Our Summer Term programs for high school students prepare you for success in college. With four exciting and challenging pre-college summer programs to choose from, you can earn college credit, discover a new subject area, or immerse yourself in project-based learning. Summer is a great time to push yourself academically while experiencing college life in this new normal, making new friends, and engaging in remote social activities. Program offerings include Summer Challenge, Summer Preview, High School Honors, and Academic Immersion.
Calder Classics Summer Online & Travel Programs
Calder Classics online and travel programs for high school students offer an intensive interdisciplinary approach to Ancient Greek, Latin, and Classics-inspired Creative Writing Workshops. By interacting with ancient history and art history, students deepen their understanding of literature and culture, and develop a lifelong appreciation of the Classics.

Summer Programme from Campus Oxford
Campus Oxford specialises in high-quality summer and Gap Year programmes in Oxford. Our programmes are a benchmark for academic quality cultural experience. Our students are motivated high school students and graduates, from the US and elsewhere, and our emphasis is on interactive, student-focused teaching in small seminar groups and one-on-one tutorials. We offer a supportive, fun, learning environment, where students are encouraged to develop as independent, self-motivated thinkers.
Gap at CET
This summer, CET will offer programs with optional college credit for recent high school graduates. Take your language learning beyond an app on your phone in Virtual Intensive Language & Culture programs. Explore your interests and develop valuable professional experience in a placement with an organization abroad through a Global Virtual Internship. CET also offers gap programs abroad in the fall and spring terms, as well as Custom Language Training for students 16 and up throughout the year.
Girls Leadership Academy for Service & Sport
The Girls Leadership Academy for Service & Sport (GLASS) is a leadership development camp designed for high school female athletes. Hosted in Costa Rica, each 10-day session includes sports-performance training, service-learning projects, leadership development workshops, mentorship from former college athletes, and adventure. Our mission is to empower female leaders through sports, service, and global engagement.
In-person programs in Summer 2021! The New York Times calls GR “one of the most respected organizations in the field.” Global Routes is a pioneer in the world of experiential education programs for high school students. Established in 1967, our transformative program model combines meaningful community service, authentic community stays, cultural immersion, and unparalleled adventures off-the-beaten-track. Great Books Summer Program and Writer’s Workshop
Now in our 20th year, Great Books Summer Program offers both On-Campus and Online programs for students entering grades 6-8 and 9-12. Led by distinguished professors and award-winning scholars, GBSP uses literature as a catalyst for building critical thinking, close reading, and self-expression skills. Join us for our traditional Great Books literature programs or our Writer’s Workshops. Summer 2021 is Online and On-Campus at Haverford, Mt. Holyoke, Oxford, Edinburgh, and more to come soon!
Summer Science Programs from Hurricane Island Center for Science and Leadership
Our Summer Science Programs on Hurricane Island in Penobscot Bay, Maine, are not your average summer camp! If you want to learn more about real science being done on the changing climate in the oceans and in the world, then this is the perfect opportunity to engage with practicing scientists, learn scientific skills, and practice a lifestyle of sustainability.
Interlochen Arts Camp
Interlochen Arts Camp is the nation’s premier multidisciplinary summer arts program, where emerging artists transform passion and potential into purpose. Guided by internationally renowned artists, campers ages 8 to 18 study music, theatre, dance, visual arts, creative writing, and film in a glorious, natural setting with like-minded peers.
Virtual Summer60 from InternWorks
InternWorks offer on-site and virtual programs during the summer, school year, and gap year. All of our programs include: guaranteed placement, personal internship coach, individualized work plan, career-readiness modules, and evaluation and feedback.
Kingue Adventure School Expeditions
We are an adventure-based school in Ecuador that makes nature our classroom. Our purpose is for our students to nourish their connection with and understanding of the natural world and through these experiences to build a healthier and more connected relationship with our planet. Ecuador’s biodiversity and compact size provides for truly magical experiences. We’ve had students experience a magnificent sunrise on the top of a volcano and enjoying a fresh shrimp ceviche by the ocean at sunset.
NOLS is the most comprehensive wilderness leadership school that takes students on wilderness expeditions of varying lengths in locations around the world. We teach in classrooms close to home and in remote wilderness areas around the world. Oxbow Summer Art Institute
At the Oxbow Summer Art Institute, students will have the opportunity to have the social, intellectual, and art experience that Oxbow is so well known for! Young artists are invited to immerse themselves with a customized course of creative study rooted in studio art practice and deep intellectual inquiry. This 8-week intensive is open to students in grades 10-12 as well as those taking a gap year before college.
Internship Explorer from Parachute Bridge
Students are always being told to prepare for college, but what about work? Internship Explorer is an upper schooler’s primer into the wild and diverse world of internship opportunities. It’s everything college students wish they they were taught in high school about how to find great internships that prepare you for the real world. Meet interns from top companies like Apple, Microsoft Tesla, Epic Games and gain real-world experience through a micro-internship with Parker Dewey.
Putney Student Travel 2021 Summer Programs
For 70 years, Putney Student Travel has provided innovative programs that foster maturity, self-confidence, and personal discovery while deepening global awareness and cultural understanding. Our programs range across a variety of focus areas including Service, Language, Pre-College, Exploration and Career. We collaborate with National Geographic Student Expeditions, Smithsonian Student Travel, Oxford Academia, and Harvard C-CHANGE. Whether you go near or go far, 2021 is the year to Go Putney.
Russian School of Math Summer School 2021
Advance your child’s math learning this summer! The Russian School of Mathematics is an award-winning, afterschool math enrichment program. Students can choose from a variety of K-12 courses that will be taught in a live, interactive virtual or in-person classroom setting during our 6 week summer session. Reinforce your child’s knowledge or choose Math competition prep courses to provide an additional challenge. SAT, SSAT prep classes and more are also available. Contact us for more details!
With 40 years under our belt, students age 11-18 learn sailing and seamanship while living coed with their own age group aboard 50-foot yachts and cruising the British Virgin and Leeward Islands. Scuba certifications, snorkeling, water sports and island exploration. Marine biology and up to 30 service hours are built into every program. No prior experience is required.
The School of the New York Times Summer Academy Online
Explore the issues that impact the world, make headlines and are important to you. Summer Academy gives students the opportunity to pursue their passions and learn from New York Times journalists and other thought leaders who bring real-world expertise into the classroom. Our online courses help students develop their intellectual curiosity. Open to rising 10th – 12th grade based on the grade the student is entering in the Fall 2021 school year as well as graduating seniors.
Sotheby’s Summer Institute Online
Sotheby’s Summer Institute invites high schoolers who are curious and passionate about the arts to immerse themselves in different facets of the art world. From learning the intricacies of running galleries and museums to exploring painting and drawing techniques throughout history, these two-week online courses are designed to engage, inspire, and fuel creativity.
Tufts Pre-College Programs
Tufts Pre-College Programs offer ambitious high school students the opportunity to learn from renowned faculty and experience a rigorous academic environment at a leading higher education institution. We offer three different six-week programs and ten different intensive programs ranging from one to three weeks. Additional program categories include Graphic Design, Coding, Nutrition, Medicine, and Climate.
Summer Institute in Global Leadership
The United Nations Association of Greater Boston’s Summer Institute in Global Leadership offers week-long Model UN programs for students in grades 6-12. Join students from all over the world as we explore a range of global issues, meet guest speakers, participate in public speaking and negotiation activities, and step into the role of diplomats during Model UN simulations. Programs are offered virtually, with the possibility of 3 in-person options to be added by the end of May.
USC Summer Programs
USC Summer Programs extends a tradition of excellence to outstanding high school students through diverse offerings of 4-week for credit & 2-week non-credit online summer courses. Students will engage in academically rigorous courses, have access to USC faculty who are leaders in their fields, explore academic passions at the university level, and connect with peers from around the world! Where There Be Dragons
Dragons offers immersive and responsible Gap Year and Summer Abroad programs in Asia, Latin America, Africa, and the USA. Engaging as travelers, not tourists, programs give students the rare opportunity to genuinely experience the places they travel and meaningfully connect across cultures. Each small-group program is custom crafted by expert instructors and combines 9-hands on program components such as homestay, trekking, and language learning.
